Thank You for a Great Campaign! + Next Steps!

Hello Everyone!
The campaign is finally over and more than 500 of you came together to make this book a reality as it was intended, with bonus stories and art gallore. We owe you so much thanks for your endless support and enthusiasm for this project and we're so happy we got to play it out, in full, on our own terms! I have so much I'd like to say, but I have actually important information to get to, so thank you, thank you, THANK YOU!
Okay, let's talk about what happens now:
- Over the next week, Kickstarter will collect your pledges--for most of you, this has already gone off without a hitch, however, there will always be people who's pledges become errored, usually because of a payment issue. If this happens to you, you need to fix that payment issue before next Wednesday or it will become much more difficult for you to get your rewards, so do it now and don't put it off!
- In about two weeks, Kickstarter will give us the lump sum of what was raised during the campaign (minus fees). Yay!
- After the New Year, we'll send out reward surveys for you to fill out which will allow you to finalize your pledge and pick up any add ons you may have missed (including stretch goal add ons). We're waiting until after the holidays because, frankly, we want you to be able to spend time with your families and enjoy your holiday season without worrying about answering our survey right away. We'll send out an update when it goes out so you don't forget about it!
- In January, Paree and Dorilys will be starting work on their short stories and we expect that they'll have everything wrapped up by mid February (though again, we'll let you guys know).
- After everything is completed, we'll send out digital copies of the book and send it to the printer where, depending on their turnaround, we'll be able to get it shipped out sometime in March or early April.
We'll be in touch soon if we need to be, but for now, let's throw our fists in the air and be happy about a job well done! Thanks again, all of you, next year is gonna be something special!

4th Stretch Goal UNLOCKED!
– Tue, Dec 16, 2025 at 09:12:43 AM
Hello Everyone!
Quick bit of good news as we enter the last 24 hours of the campaign, We just crossed $17,500 and hit our fourth stretch goal of the campaign, unlocking a free print for all physical backers and a new Dakota poster by Laura Helsby as an add on!
That poster is still in production, so I'm going to wait until surveys go out to make that available for purchase, so don't worry that you can't pick it up right at this moment, I want to make sure everyone can see what it looks like before we put a price tag on it!
Can we hit our fifth stretch goal and get some smutty Christmas cards made in time for the Holidays? Probably not, but I am looking to give the creative team a pay bump if we exceed $20k to make sure everyone shares in how well this campaign did, so let's not take our foot off the gas until we're fully out of time!
So grateful for all of your support, let's make this last day a big one.

Final hours of the Campaign!

Hello Everyone!
It's almost that time, we're 72 hours away from the end of the campaign for Smut Vol. 1! At the moment, we're about $2200 away from our 4th stretch goal to unlock a free print for everyone and a Dakota add-on poster for those that have been clamoring for it since the first campaign.
Now's the best time to check your add-ons and make sure you have everything you want, share word of the campaign around your preferred social media and/or public park, and pick up the stretch goal add-ons we've unlocked so far. Speaking of:
Brenda finished the design for the free sticker/new enamel pin and it's ADORABLE! I love him desperately and can't wait to have the pins in my grubby little mitts. You can pick up one right now in the add-ons to help us get to our next (and probably last) stretch goal!
No matter what, we've had a great campaign and I'm really proud of this book and team. Thanks so much for getting us this far, let's end the year and this campaign as strong as we can!

Hello Everyone!
Short update today, we've got 1 week left to wrap this project and make it something special! We just crossed $14k and I believe we still have the momentum to hit that next stretch goal before the end of the campaign. We just need to keep spreading the word!
I appreciate everything you guys have done to hype up the comic and support us, particularly those that were there from the beginning. We wouldn't be here without you and we won't be forgetting that any time soon!
In case you weren't excited enough for Laura Helsby's Dakota poster, here's a link to the recently approved inks. You're welcome :)

"When a potentially divine stranger finds himself the target of the Vampire Queen, street-level magician Mr. Rhee finds himself unexpectedly charged with protecting him through what will prove a long and dangerous night.
"TALES OF MR. RHEE Volume 6: "Blood for Blood" by writer Dirk Manning, illustrator Austin McKinley, and colorist Colin Johnson features a stunning (and sexy) cover by superstar artist Mike Krome, offering a perfect jumping-in point for readers looking to enjoy a great horror-noir series. If you want more, though, This campaign also offers catch-up tiers on the whole series, the Kickstarter Exclusive "F**k Vampires" T-shirt, and more specially-priced bundles at www.TalesOfMrRhee.com.
"The campaign is currently unlocking the Round Two Stretch Goals and ends this Friday... so if you're in the mood for something spooky and sexy, pledge now!"
The incredibly long run of Tales of Mr. Rhee speaks for itself, I think. It's been a self published success since MySpace and the creative team is as solid as ever. The creator, Dirk Manning, has always been really gracious with me and my work and I wanted to take the chance to return that support, so I'd encourage you to check it out here!
That's all for today, talk soon!

Third Stretch Goal hit! Introducing our guest print artists!
– Thu, Dec 04, 2025 at 10:27:21 AM
Hello Everyone!
Excited to announce that we just hit our 3rd stretch goal which unlocks a free sticker for everyone and a new enamel pin of the same design as the sticker! Voting is now over for that design and in a photo finish, "I heard you like magic!" with Rita's rabbit stuffie has won out!
Brenda is working on the official design and should have that made and available in the add-ons very soon!
Looking ahead to our next stretch goal, we're going to be unlocking 2 new prints and I am SO pumped for them! We're working with 42 Fold Studio to make a pair of exclusive prints for this campaign, one free and one as an add on.
The free 5.5"x8.5" print will be a cozy group shot celebrating the friendship of Dakota, Rita, and Jess drawn by Hedda Kverndalen, a phenomenal Norwegian illustrator who's work is beautifully rendered and oozes personality.
The 11"x17" poster will be making up for the lack of a Dakota poster so far and is being drawn by Laurz (Laura Helsby), a British artist who has a passion for drawing buff women and could not be a better match for Dakota.
Both artists have started work on those pieces and we should have a good look at how they're shaping up by the time we reach our next stretch goal. I hope you're as excited for these new pieces as we are, let's knock it out quick!

"THIS HOLIDAY SEASON, CARMILLA AND CHRISTMAS COME TOGETHER. A sexy, sapphic twist on Dickens’ classic tale from the creators of Nightmare Theater and Carmilla Unbound.
"A VERY CARMILLA CHRISTMAS CAROL is a 32-page one-shot written by Clay Adams (Red X-Mas, Blazing Blade of Frankenstein, Dreamquest) and D.E. Schrader (Baby Badass, Cannibals on Mars), and featuring sumptuous interiors by Erik Tamayo (Robyn Hood Mystere, Star Trek) with fiendishly festive colors by Alex Zief (Cult of Dracula, Monster Matador).
"Inspired by Carmilla, Sheridan Le Fanu’s erotic novella that predates Bram Stoker’s famous book by 26 years, the CARMILLA UNBOUND series is a blood-soaked love letter to those who think Dracula was a little dry and needed a bloody transfusion of graphic, sapphic sex and virtuous violence."
Check it out, it's great!
