Stretch Goal Progress Update!

Hello Everyone!
Been a minute, hope you're doing well!
If you need a refresher, during the campaign last year, we hit a really exciting stretch goal to include three short comics, each following up on the girls' individual stories. Two of them made it into the book, but the one following up on Alejandra and Jess did not, much as we worked to make that happen.
The reason that story couldn't make it in is because we hired one of my favorite indie artists, Paree Paramound, to helm that story. Her schedule was very busy at the end of last year, but she was able to work us in for February/March of this year, or at least that was the plan. Paree lives in Iran, which means that in February, to put it diplomatically, her life got turned fully upside down and, among many other more important things, the comic had to be put on hold.
We have been in contact with her throughout the year, offering support whenever possible and making sure she's remained safe during this horrific time. All the while, we've assured her that work would be available for her when she was ready to return to it. Our position then and now is that the circumstances were not her fault and that it was unacceptable to fire her because she couldn't deliver on her deadlines in a time where her mother's house was being bombed.
Comics are important to us, but the lives and safety of our collaborators will always take precedent, even (and especially) when that inconveniences us as the conceptual publisher.
Well, today I have great news!
Wish I could show you more of the page, but it is NOT safe for Kickstarter!
Paree is finally in a position where she's able to pick up working on comics and we're so thrilled about being able to deliver on this story!
She's working through the inks right now and, while she's not up to the speed she used to be (six months of rust will do that), she sent us the first completed page yesterday. It's still going to be at least a few weeks before it's inked, colored, and lettered, but I wanted to let you guys know that we hadn't forgotten about our promise to get the story drawn and sent to your inbox!
Feel free to send Paree a word of support, I know she's been self conscious about her inability to be a part of the community over these last several months and hearing from you guys really makes her day!
In other news...
If you missed out on some of the add ons and enamel pins for Smut and are wondering where you can pick them up, we actually have an entire enamel pin campaign running right now!
We've got all our comics and pins from previous campaigns available as add-ons as well as a bunch of new designs, all of which help us pay for variant cover artists and suppliment our comic income to keep us stable during a year that has been less than friendly to creatives of all varieties.

Hello Everyone!
We've finished packing all of the copies of Smut that we can (again, some of you still need to fill out your surveys), and are taking them to the post office today! Thank you all so much for your support, working on this comic has been a joy in a turbulent time and I'm almost sad to see that it's over.
This book was the reason I was able to quit my (extremely miserable) job as a bartender and devote myself fulltime to comics and I hope that we can continue to build on that success. Thank you for being a part of this legitimately life changing book!
If you haven't gotten your book yet, it's probably in this outgoing batch, but keep an eye out. If you don't wind up getting it or something in your order is missing, TELL US ABOUT IT so we can fix it! We want you to have the things you paid for.

Shipping Update!

Hello Everyone!
I just dropped off our second batch of packages at the post office, which puts us at about 3/4 of the way through our total. Basically, most of you have packages on the way!
The last quarter are the more complicated, heavier, and more involved packages that may take a touch longer to get out, but we should be able to get everything knocked out by at least next week. If you haven't gotten an email saying your package is on the way, hold tight, it'll be there soon.
I just want to say thanks to everyone for being patient and I can't wait to hear what you think of the full story! The whole team really appreciates the amount of trust you put in us to make this a reality.

It's only been a day, but we're over 60% funded (on a pretty high goal), unlocked the "Project We Love" badge, and we're looking to clear our initial goal soon and start working on stretch goals ASAP! Hello Everyone!
This past Thursday, we picked up Smut Vol. 1 from the shipping docks and they look INCREDIBLE! We then promptly drove to Kalamazoo for one of our best convention showings ever, so needless to say, we're pretty excited about what's happening this year.
Starting this week, we're going to be organizing, packing, and shipping your copies of Smut Vol. 1. If you've been with us in the past, you might expect that they'll all be in the mail by the end of the week, but after an exhausting schedule of conventions and our upcoming launch for our new series, Love is Simple (more on that in a second), we're taking this one a tiny bit slower.
Don't worry, they'll still all be out before the end of April, we've just got too much to do to commit 8 hours a day to packing up books at the moment! We're really excited to get this in your hands, though, and even more excited to hear what you think about the completed story!
Also, just to make sure this isn't unsaid, we have been in contact with Paree recently and, for the moment, she is relatively safe. She was very touched to hear about all the support from this community and understanding that she wouldn't be able to deliver with everything going on in her home and country. She's also doing her best to stay sane and keep going day to day, it's an incredibly stressful situation and we're all doing everything we can to support her through this indescribably difficult time. In her own words, "It's so good to hear from you...I can't wait to start drawing comics again."
We're launching our follow up to Smut in one week and we're on the verge of achieving something really cool! We've never hit 400 prelaunch backers before, but we're already over 350 and only need a tiny push to get us over the edge. Thank you all so much for being the base of support for this new book, we came to you first to hit our prelaunch goals and you knocked it out of the park!
If you haven't followed the project yet, we'd really appreciate it! We're launching next Monday and Early Bird rewards last until Wedneday (or when we run out, which seems more likely at the moment). Maybe we can do something special if we hit 400!
